The day began with a magical hot air balloon ride over Cappadocia, where the golden sunrise illuminated the fairy chimneys and valleys below, offering breathtaking views. The journey continued at the Göreme Open-Air Museum, a treasure trove of ancient rock-carved churches and frescoes, followed by brief stops at Pigeon Valley and Love Valley, each showcasing the region’s surreal beauty. A descent into the depths of Derinkuyu Underground City revealed the ingenuity of ancient civilizations, while a visit to Alaadin Ceramics brought the vibrant artistry of the region to life—I couldn’t resist taking home a stunning handcrafted decanter. Imagination Valley’s whimsical rock formations sparked endless creativity, and the day ended perfectly at the Three Beauties, where the iconic fairy chimneys stood gracefully against the setting sun.
