Konya – Cappadocia

The journey from Konya to Cappadocia is one of rich cultural heritage and breathtaking landscapes. Starting in Konya, I visited the mausoleum of Mevlana, a deeply spiritual site filled with the serenity and mystique of Rumi’s legacy, the man whose teachings inspired the Whirling Dervishes and their mesmerizing Sema ritual. Its intricate architecture and peaceful atmosphere set the tone for the road ahead. Along the way, I stopped at Tepesi Delik Han, a historic caravanserai that once offered shelter to travelers on the ancient Silk Road, its sturdy walls and timeless charm a reminder of the region’s storied past. Arriving in Cappadocia, I stayed at the Antique House Cappadocia, where the stunning views of fairy chimneys and valleys bathed in soft light made it feel like stepping into another world—a perfect end to a journey steeped in history and wonder.
